What Is To The Eyes

The weather in Malaysia has been changing. What used to be studied in geography classes one or two decades ago about the monsoon seasons and all are already quite not applicable in this current world. Calamities are striking frequently in different areas around the globe. What was unthinkable to most of mankind is starting to come into reality. What lies in the heart of men, of untold fear, is slowing trickling onto the surface of speech.

In times of adversities, however, mankind is strong in believing in hope, in holding onto hope, that despite everything, we can see light at the end of the tunnel. If the end is coming in three years time, will people stop building dreams? I think, mankind will continue to build homes, get married, build families, and build a future for the next generation.

This is just my assumption. What will unfold in the future, and how will mankind deal with its fate, may be a different picture that none of us can possibly imagine, or one that we do not hope to see happen.

I got a surprise yesterday when I read the headline of Borneo Post: KK needs a LRT system! If Penang Island can’t get one, If Ipoh doesn’t need one, then I cannot imagine how KK can suddenly outgrow itself to be as populated as the Klang Valley…

And, finally, to the ultimate question… Is the baby a boy or a girl? To the eyes of human wisdom and tradition, it’s a baby boy. To the eyes of the scanner, due to lack of clear visual clue, it’s a baby girl.

Best leave the answer until after birth, so it seems the wise thing to do…
